This exercise helps you loosen the back of your thigh with a massage stick for easier bending and reaching.
Leg Lock Bridge
This exercise helps you build one-sided hip strength by bridging on one leg while hugging the other knee to your chest.
- Starting Position:
- Supine
Start: Lie on your back with knees bent and feet flat. Pull one knee up above your waist and hold it there with both hands.
Action:
Drive through the heel of the planted foot and lift your hips evenly until there's a straight line from your shoulders through your hip to your knee.
Don't let the knee rotate or fall out to the side.
Lower slowly. Do your reps, then switch legs.
Feel: You should feel the glute of the planted leg working hard. If your hamstring cramps, drive harder through the heel and think about squeezing your glute.
