Lunge Forward Double Arm Up With Two KB

This exercise helps you build leg strength and core control by lunging forward with two kettlebells held at your shoulders.

Start: Stand tall with two kettlebells at your shoulders, wrists straight, shoulders pulled back, chest up.

Action:

  1. Step forward with one leg, landing heel first, big toe and heel pressing into the floor.

  2. Lower by bending the front knee and hip until the back knee is almost touching the floor.

  3. The weight will try to tip you forward — keep your shoulders back, chest up, and the bells steady at your shoulders.

  4. Push through the front foot and drive back up, legs working like scissors. Do your reps, then switch legs.

Feel: Front thigh and glute do the work; your upper back and core keep you from folding forward. If your chest drops, the load is too heavy.
